Low fidelity UI prototypes

After picking the design that had the most potential, I had to develop it further into a low fidelity prototype before making it a final functioning prototype. The main difference is that I realised that placing the writing in the middle makes it too centred and leaves too much space lower down since the writing is primarily horizontal. To cover up the excess negative space, I have added a menu on the side which also provides extra UI for the user to be able to navigate their settings easier which helps to eliminate any confusion early on.

The log in format looks busy however all the steps are necessary in order to provide maximum security for the website and therefore make the user want to trust the website with their data. To provide more security there will also be a terms of service and privacy policy option so that the user can read the agreement themselves and decide if how the website can utilise their data is appropriate for them. For returning users, the process is simpler but will also include a “forgot password” option in order to help users who don’t remember their password or the ability to reset it in case of a hack or data breach.

The tickets page will offer 3 varieties based on the needs of the users. It will have distinctive names and icons with a single sentence description of the “duration of stay” that these options provide. Adding a visual variety will help the users differentiate between the options better. This however is a very important and fragile process because the imagery has to be very unique and accurate in order to make the user read deeper into the options that they assumed they need based on the picture.
